Beginning 1895
The Heintz story began in 1895 when our great-grandparents Susanne Koenig and Joseph Heintz opened a small guesthouse with 5 rooms in the former hostel of the Trinitarian monastery.
Our family continued running the guesthouse and caring for the comfort of our guests for decades.

Reconstruction 1960
In 1960, major renovation works transformed the guesthouse into a modern hotel with 28 rooms.
Tradition 2019
Our hotel which is family owned in the 5th generation is now under the management of our daughter Carole. This will ensure that family history and legacy will be carried on in the future.
